To ensure a safe, respectful, and well-managed experience for everyone, please follow the rules outlined below while using the facility:

a. Liability for Injury

All activities are at your own risk. Kshatriya Badminton Club and Synergy Indoor Sports Centre are not liable for injuries sustained on the premises.

b. Recovery Room Usage

Time Limit: Use of hot tub, steam room, and ice bath is limited to 10 minutes per session per feature.
Health Risks: Hot tub use may cause dizziness, dehydration, or overheating.
Cold Water Safety — Gradual Entry: Enter the ice bath gradually to avoid cold shock. Do not hold your breath while entering.
Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times in the recovery area.
Medical Conditions & Pregnancy: Individuals who are pregnant or have underlying health issues should consult a healthcare professional before using recovery amenities.
User Responsibility: Use is at your own risk. The club is not liable for misuse or health-related incidents.

c. Footwear Policy

NON-MARKING SHOES ONLY – NO BLACK SOLE SHOES ALLOWED.
Only non-marking indoor court shoes are permitted on the courts. Black-sole shoes, outdoor footwear, and shoes that leave marks or scuffs are strictly prohibited. Violators may be asked to leave the court area.

d. Surveillance

The facility is monitored with 24/7 surveillance cameras for your safety.

e. Conduct

Any form of abusive language, misconduct, or harassment is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the premises.

f. Cleanliness

Please help us maintain a clean environment by disposing of trash properly and keeping equipment and spaces tidy.

g. Membership Policy

Once purchased, memberships are non-refundable and non-cancelable until the next renewal period.

h. Court Rental & Cancellation Policy

Cancel 48 hours prior to your booking: You may reschedule without penalty.
Cancel within 24–48 hours: You are responsible for 50% of the rental fee.
Cancel within 24 hours or no-show: Full payment is required.

i. Parking Policy

Please park your vehicle only in the assigned parking spots. If your car is parked elsewhere and gets towed, the club is not responsible for any fines, fees, or damages.

j. Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking, vaping, and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the facility or on surrounding premises.

k. Coaching Policy

Private or unauthorized coaching is strictly prohibited at all times. Only individuals enrolled in an official Kshatriya Badminton Club coaching program are permitted to receive or conduct coaching on-site. Strict action will be taken against anyone found violating this policy, including possible suspension of facility access.

l. Personal Belongings

You are solely responsible for your own belongings while on the premises. Synergy Indoor Sports Centre are not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

m. Subscription Payment Retry Policy

For recurring class enrollment subscriptions: If a scheduled payment fails, it will be retried up to 2 additional times. If all attempts fail, a $50.00 late fee will be charged and your enrollment may be suspended. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.

1. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

2. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synergy Indoor Sports Centre, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the facility, website, or services, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise. The aggregate liability of Synergy Indoor Sports Centre for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the facility shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to the facility in the 12 months preceding the claim.

3. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Synergy Indoor Sports Centre, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the facility or services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any injury or damage caused by your actions; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

4. Right to Refuse Service

Synergy Indoor Sports Centre reserves the right to refuse service, terminate memberships, cancel bookings, or permanently ban any individual from the premises at its sole discretion for violation of these Terms, facility rules, abusive conduct, fraudulent activity, or any behaviour deemed detrimental to the safety or enjoyment of other patrons. No refund will be provided for service terminated due to a violation.

5. Refunds & Credits

Court Bookings: Subject to the cancellation policy in Section (h).
Memberships: Once purchased, memberships are non-refundable and non-cancelable until the next renewal period. No partial refunds.
Coaching & Classes: Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice will receive a full credit to your account. Cancellations within 24–48 hours receive a 50% credit. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. Credits expire 12 months from issuance.
Drop-In Sessions: Cancellations within 24 hours of the session start time are non-refundable. Earlier cancellations receive a full credit.
Punch Cards: Non-refundable. Expire 12 months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Promotional Credits: Any credits issued for promotional purposes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may expire at the facility's discretion.

6. Force Majeure

Synergy Indoor Sports Centre shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, government orders, utility failures, labour disputes, or equipment failure. In such events, the facility will make reasonable efforts to reschedule bookings or issue credits where applicable.

7. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the facility or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Synergy Indoor Sports Centre regarding your use of the facility and services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written.
